Five Ways to Celebrate Spring for Under $50

It was so amazing to welcome spring with a gorgeous sunshiny day here in Perth.  It made me think about ways to update my wardrobe and I went on the hunt for some fun and fabulous springtime buys that won’t break the budget.

Sportsgirl Ziggy Zag Enamel Necklace $24.95

This colourful and fun necklace would look amazing with a pencil skirt, shirt and heels for the office or with a t-shirt, jeans and ballet flats for coffee with the girls.

Dotti Love Heart Leopard Tee $9.95

I spotted this leopard tee and immediately snapped it up – it’s got a hint of Sass and Bide, and for under $10 – it’s a total steal!

Thakoon for Nars Nail Collection $32

Nail polish is a really fun and easy way to add some colour to your day and these gorgeous shades of gelato would be guaranteed to make you smile.

Forever New Katherine Scarf $19.99

I love scarves, they are the perfect transitional season wardrobe staple and immediately dress up an ordinary outfit of jeans and a tee.

The Iconic Cobalt Blue Boston Belle Ballet Flats $49.98

Style guru And Andrea recently revealed that cobalt blue has been voted ‘Colour of the Decade’.  These fabulous leather Boston Belle ballet flats are a great way to style your way into spring for less than $50.

Happy shopping lovelies!

Winter Bargain Buys

I’ve seen some fantastic bargain buys recently that would be perfect for anyone looking to update their winter wardrobe without spending a fortune;

Cotton On Simba Blazer – $49.95

This blazer is a perfect budget wardrobe basic to take you through autumn and winter. The fabric is really soft, so you feel like you’re wearing a cardigan while looking super smart.  I love the lining detail when you roll the sleeves up.

Sportsgirl Leopard Tunic Dress – $39.95

This tunic dress is the perfect way to rock leopard print during the day. It could be dressed up with a blazer, tights and boots for the office or with leggings and flats for the school run.

Myer Miss Shop Ponti Dress – $37.50

This Audrey Hepburn style rust coloured ponti dress is a bargain for $37.50! It would be perfect for the office with pumps and some gold neck candy or with flats and a cardigan for the park.

Dotti Dalmation Spot Cardigan – $29.95

I’ve really been loving Dotti recently, they have some great pieces at affordable prices. This cardigan is a classic example, it would be a fabulous addition to any winter wardrobe. I would wear it out for coffee with the girls with ballet flats, a pearl bracelet and a pony tail.

Winter Wardrobe Finds

I’ve been doing a little Autumn / Winter wardrobe research (OK…. online shopping) recently and thought I would share some of my favourite finds with you;

Full Hearts Jumper $49.95 Dotti

What a fun and gorgeous knit! I would wear it with a pair of skinny jeans, ballet flats and some fun arm candy.

Feather Necklace $12.95 Colette Accessories

I am so loving feathers right now. This necklace is the perfect way to instantly take a plain outfit of jeans, white t-shirt, black blazer and heels to F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! And all for $12.95. Happy days.

Ladakh Mirage Dress $129.95  Myer

Metallics are huge this season, I would wear this hot little number with a pair of killer heels and some fabulous earrings. (Courtesy of www.andandrea.com)

Coloured Animal Scarf $24.99 Forever New

Scarves are the ultimate trans-seasonal wardrobe staple and I can’t get enough of them. As soon as the weather starts to get a bit chilly, I’ll wear this little beauty with jeans and a top for an instant pop of colour.

Speckled Faux Fur Vest $103.96 Bardot

I have been eyeing these faux fur vests off since last season, they are so chic and glamorous – and for this price, it’s a steal! If I was feeling daring, I would rock it with the sequinned pants too.

Happy shopping lovely ladies!
